About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monthly allocation/recognition of prepaid expenses and related reconciliations
Analyze monthly expenses and perform required provisions/allocations and reclassifications
Revenue analysis and cut-off
Manual journal entries
Payroll reconciliation, analysis and posting
Review and submission of the monthly closing schedule and spreadsheet control (quarterly)
Filing and review of account reconciliations
Tax reconciliations and related adjustments
Reconcile various asset and liability accounts by comparing the accounting ledger with supporting reports (spreadsheets, financial module reports)
Prepare month-end closing routines relevant to your responsibilities
Support management reports and reporting to Headquarters (including HFM among others)
Support the delivery of statutory and regulatory filings to government and regulatory bodies (ECD, ECF, IBGE, BACEN, etc.)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
Additional training in Spanish and/or English – basic level (desirable/plus)
Knowledge of SAP (FI and CO modules)
Knowledge of Mastersaf
Microsoft Office suite
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting
