About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Visit clients in the assigned region, focusing on selling products and services.
- Meet and exceed targets through strategic actions.
- Develop sales strategies aligned with the Commercial Policy and each customer's profile.
- Provide consultative service by identifying needs and proposing solutions.
- Resolve issues related to product use and contact technical support when necessary.
- Keep an up-to-date record for each client.
- Prepare reports of visits, opportunities and activities in Salesforce.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Evaluate monthly performance and support the development of annual targets.
- Monitor the sales order flow through to completion.
- Interact with internal areas such as Customer Care, Finance and the technical team.
- Develop intermediate welding techniques in SMAW, MIG/MAG and FCAW processes.
- Conduct technical demonstrations.
- Interpret product catalogs and competitor data.
- Prepare test specimens.
- Understand the basic operation of equipment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical education and/or pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related fields.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Salesperson or Technical Consultant.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of welding equipment and consumables.
- Basic English and/or Spanish.
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Office and ERP skills.
- Additional certifications and supplementary courses are a plus.
