About the role
- Assist customers with connection of EVSEs to Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) systems and suggest systems for effective use of OCPP systems.
- Monitor and analyze real-world data from deployed chargers to identify performance issues, especially in the early stages of customer deployments.
- Track data trends and make recommendations to improve system reliability, efficiency, and overall user experience.
- Provide technical assistance during the sales process, using online tools and applications.
- Support customers during pre- and post-sales activities, including product delivery, installation, commissioning, validating success with unique use cases, and project handover
- Develop strong customer relationships to support driving increased sales volume
- Conduct training sessions with customers on the setup and use of EV charging systems.
- Provide feedback to product managers to make sure product requirements and product roadmaps capture lessons learned from previous experiences and ongoing testing experiences.
- Travel to customer sites to provide on-the-ground support for charger installations and troubleshooting efforts.
- Engage with the engineering team through occasional travel to the Cleveland facility to assist with customer testing and other technical activities.
- Collaborate with the product and test engineering team to solve complex problems.
- Participate in industry events and use these opportunities to build and foster strong relationships with prospective customers and development partners.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- 3-5 years relevant experience minimum
- Experience in deploying EV charging systems or related technologies.
- Familiarity with OCPP, DIN70121, ISO15118, and relevant industry protocols.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting, performance testing, and analyzing data to diagnose system issues.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operators and system providers.
- Proven experience in monitoring and analyzing data from live field deployments.
- Hands-on experience with both hardware and software components of EV charging infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders within the EV ecosystem.
