About the role
- The equipment portfolio will include; all industrial equipment and solutions, (predominantly US and European sourced equipment).
- Standard education, fume extraction, hard automation and cutting equipment product with assistance from the Automation team, but excludes engineered automated robotic systems and customised or non-standard hard automation, fume extraction, and cutting solutions
- Develop marketing initiatives and collateral through website, brochures, catalogues, seminars, campaigns, trade shows, and product training both in person and online.
- Maintain and keep up to date product detail driving web content and product information required for SAP master data.
- Develop strategies to improve equipment product range knowledge, awareness, opportunity / lead identification, and value proposition across our sales team.
- Manage equipment product life cycle across equipment range to effectively manage and coordinate inventory planning, supply and sourcing, item master integrity and maintenance, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
Requirements
- Degree in business or marketing preferred
- Experience with the welding industry or welding equipment is highly desirable.
- 5+ exposure to and understanding of the Australian & NZ welding markets
- Experience in product management or marketing skills is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills.
- Solid understanding of MS Office applications and SAP system and item master product data
- Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
- Willingness to innovate and generate new ideas.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and creativity in problem solving.
- Business acumen, the ability to manage resources to meet financial targets.
- Strong analytical skills to identify price/volume strategy/opportunities
