About the role
- Collaborate in a team environment to execute capital projects for manufacturing facilities
- Take responsibility for the mechanical aspects of projects
- Develop engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability and safety
- Create and maintain sustainable documentation for use by engineering and maintenance teams
- Design solutions that comply with ISO 14001 and EHS initiatives
- Provide capital cost estimates and establish project timelines
- Specify and solicit equipment quotations to confirm compliance
- Deliver technical support to the Production and Maintenance departments
- Coordinate with process engineering, production, maintenance, and supply management teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on, mechanical engineering experience for Level II Engineer
- 5+ years of hands-on, mechanical engineering experience for Level III Engineer
- Technically proficient in CAD modeling
- Strong desire to take ownership of tasks and deliver results
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to perform hands-on work when needed
