About the role

  • Collaborate in a team environment to execute capital projects for manufacturing facilities
  • Take responsibility for the mechanical aspects of projects
  • Develop engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability and safety
  • Create and maintain sustainable documentation for use by engineering and maintenance teams
  • Design solutions that comply with ISO 14001 and EHS initiatives
  • Provide capital cost estimates and establish project timelines
  • Specify and solicit equipment quotations to confirm compliance
  • Deliver technical support to the Production and Maintenance departments
  • Coordinate with process engineering, production, maintenance, and supply management teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on, mechanical engineering experience for Level II Engineer
  • 5+ years of hands-on, mechanical engineering experience for Level III Engineer
  • Technically proficient in CAD modeling
  • Strong desire to take ownership of tasks and deliver results
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to perform hands-on work when needed
