About the role
- Program, integrate, and debug robotic and PLC systems for automated welding and assembly equipment.
- Conduct offline robot programming, reach studies, and layout simulations.
- Utilize CAD modeling tools to develop and modify part designs, tooling, and layouts.
- Identify opportunities to improve product quality, process efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot design, material, or process issues in both new and existing systems.
- Partner with design, manufacturing, and project management teams to ensure seamless integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on experience in a mechanical, manufacturing, or automation environment
- Proficiency in robotic programming and simulation tools (Fanuc, ABB, Yaskawa, etc.)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and system integration
- CAD proficiency (preferably Creo)
- Complies with ISO 14001, and other relevant standards.
