About the role
- Cultivate and maintain Child Sponsorship Program
- Work with Awasi Education Centre's Director of Child Sponsorship to review bios and photos of potential students
- Work with LINC's marketing team to update student photos and bios and promote the Child Sponsorship Program
- Facilitate relationship between sponsors and students
- Share updated student information, progress reports, photos and letters with their Sponsor three times a year
- Share updates with Sponsors via email as well as direct mail
- Organize, label, and mail physical letters from students to Sponsors
- Review, label and submit letters/gifts from Sponsors to our Kenyan Liaison
- Work with Donor Relation's Team and Finance Officer to monitor financial commitment of Child Sponsors
- Work with Marketing Team to promote and secure Sponsors each year
- Work closely with LINC's Finance Officer to monitor expenses and adjust cost as needed
- Communicate directly with Awasi Education Centre's team to track student progress reports and obtain ongoing photos
Requirements
- Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn and utilize CRM software
- Ability to learn and utilize Google Suite applications
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate professionally
- Requires a high degree of confidentiality due to access to Donor and Student information
- Subject to background check
- None required
- Beneficial to have experience in Education, Early Childhood Development, or Administrative fields but not required
- Active Passport if intending to travel to Kenya
- Willingness to put in more working hours, even at odd times.
- International travel possible but not required
- Virtual and potential in-person
