About the role
- Quality planning for new production processes according to APQP (FMEA, Control Plan, inspection instructions)
- Creation and maintenance of quality-related documentation
- Selection and support of test and measurement technology, including MSA
- Ensuring quality requirements in prototype, pre-series and series production
- Sample submission according to PPAP/VDA and evaluation of process and machine capability
- Handling customer and supplier complaints, including 8D facilitation
- Action management arising from complaints, audits and APQP
- Participation in the quality management system according to IATF 16949
- Training of employees and close cooperation with project and production teams
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, preferably in testing technology and quality management
- Solid understanding of quality requirements in the automotive industry (IATF 16949)
- Experience in quality assurance, metrology and SPC
- Knowledge of high-volume production with emphasis on machining, assembly and testing processes
- Expertise in test/process planning (APQP, FMEA, Control Plan) and in claims handling (8D, 5 Whys, etc.)
- Good German and English skills
