About the role
- Lead the Accounting department
- Responsible for preparing the budget and forecast planning
- Monitor costs and budgets
- Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements
- Timely delivery of reports and variance analyses for financial planning metrics
- Organize regular departmental meetings
- Personnel selection, employee appraisals and staff development
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration (Diplom-Betriebswirt or Diplom-Kaufmann) (m/f/d)
- Relevant professional experience in accounting
- Very good knowledge of financial reporting under the German Commercial Code (HGB) and ideally IFRS
- Proficient with ERP systems and MS Office applications
- Strong organizational skills
- Initial experience managing staff
- Good command of written and spoken English
