About the role
- Oversee controlling processes including planning, reporting, forecasting, performance controlling and inventory controlling
- Support with financial statements and planning: assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closings and prepare and maintain the annual cost planning in SAP in coordination with cost center managers
- Responsible for cost accounting, product cost calculations (in particular the annual standard costing), post-calculations as well as performance, productivity and efficiency analyses
- Prepare meaningful reports for business units and management with clear, decision-relevant insights
- Optimize reporting tools, controlling processes and interfaces to improve transparency and efficiency
- Conduct profitability analyses within investment controlling and apply for electricity tax relief/subsidies in cooperation with authorities and auditors
Requirements
- Degree in business administration with a focus on controlling or an equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a production/plant controller
- Solid knowledge of operational and strategic controlling, including a technical understanding of production processes
- Very good SAP R/3 knowledge (FI/CO) as well as strong knowledge of IFRS and HGB (German Commercial Code)
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
