About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage complex NetSuite engineering projects
Establish architectural designs while writing SuiteScript and building custom solutions
Develop, customize, and optimize NetSuite modules focusing on global business requirements
Architect, build, and maintain robust integrations and automated data pipelines between NetSuite and Coupa
Streamline accounting and supply chain operations using SuiteFlow and SuiteScript
Ensure platform security and audit readiness by implementing role-based access controls, data security policies, and SOX compliance measures
Partner with Enterprise Product Managers and corporate business teams
Develop and enforce coding and technical design standards, conducting peer code reviews
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers
Stay up to date with NetSuite bi-annual releases, managing impact analyses and recommending optimizations
Hands-on experience building and maturing NetSuite-SDF and GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines for version-controlled customization and automated deployment

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in ERP development
7+ years of dedicated technical expertise in NetSuite development and hands-on SuiteScript architecture
Deep end-to-end NetSuite architecture and techno-functional expertise across Fixed Asset Management (FAM), Landed Cost (LC), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Management, and Intercompany transactions
Strong understanding of how procurement and inventory flows drive landed cost allocation, asset capitalization, reconciliation, and downstream GL impact and supporting multi-subsidiary, multi-currency, and global finance operations within NetSuite OneWorld environments
Proven experience customizing and configuring NetSuite Fixed Asset Management (FAM) and complex Landed Cost allocation models
Deep understanding of custom GL impacts, multi-currency transactions, automated intercompany eliminations
Proven experience architecting, configuring, and optimizing NetSuite AP processes
Hands-on experience architecting and building complex, automated workflows connecting Coupa to NetSuite
Working understanding of Transfer Orders (TOs), Item Receipts (IRs), and Item Fulfillments (IFs)
Expert-level proficiency with the SuiteCloud customization platform
Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages like Java or Python
Strong understanding of SQL for custom reporting/analytics
Strong background working in compliance-driven environments navigating strict SOX, GDPR, or asset-tracking controls
Experience evaluating and implementing AI-driven solutions across ERP and adjacent business systems to improve financial operations
Familiarity with broader enterprise SaaS tools
Experience working within Agile methodologies and DevOps practices in an ERP landscape
Proficient working with modern web formats and protocols, including JavaScript, Node.js, XML, and JSON
Deeply proficient with standard SDLC and enterprise change-management procedures
Certification: Oracle NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant & SuiteCloud Developer preferred; SuiteFoundation or NetSuite Administrator certification is a plus.
