About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end bid management, including kickoff, timeline creation, resource alignment, proposal development, and submission
- Draft clear, compelling, and creative content for RFPs, RFIs, permitting processes, and other public procurement solicitations, often on tight deadlines
- Develop and refine key themes, narratives, and messaging to ensure proposals are competitive and resonate with local audiences
- Review and analyze solicitation/document packages from municipalities to identify priorities, evaluation criteria, eligibility, and scoring mechanisms
- Partner with local operations and policy teams to gather insights and build competitive strategies
- Maintain and expand established best practices, toolkits, and content libraries in collaboration with the proposal team
- Travel to key markets as needed to strategize and plan for upcoming projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally focused on content writing and project/bid management
- Experience interpreting and analyzing regulations, bid documents, and/or municipal planning documents within the French market
- Excellent written French and a passion for language and storytelling
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a process-oriented mindset
- Strong cross-functional collaborator with confident interpersonal and influencing skills
- Calm under pressure with a track record of adapting to shifting priorities while delivering error-free work
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Public or private sector procurement experience is a plus
- Fluent English and native-level French
