About the role
- Act as the primary partner to the Revenue & Asset Accounting teams.
- Guide the strategy and development of the finance technology roadmap for all technologies within the order-to-cash and acquire to retire lifecycles, including billing, revenue recognition (ASC606), and asset management.
- Lead finance technology projects from discovery to launch, gathering business requirements, designing functional solutions, and managing project timelines.
- Drive process optimization and automation initiatives to reduce manual work, increase accuracy, and ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
- Serve as the key liaison with Corporate Technology, Engineering, and external vendors to deliver and support robust solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve the efficiency and scalability of our revenue operations.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Business Systems Analyst, Finance Manager, or in a similar role focused on core accounting systems.
- Proficiency in revenue accounting, Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, and a strong understanding of ASC606 principles.
- Proficiency with fixed asset accounting and depreciation processes.
- Hands-on experience with core financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle FAH, Stripe, or similar enterprise-level ERP platforms.
- A track record of leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience working in a SOX-controlled environment.
- A process-oriented mindset with an ability to design scalable and efficient solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL and data warehouses like Snowflake.
