Requirements

What you’ll need

Native-level fluency in the target language
A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR
A graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR
5 years of full-time professional translation experience.
3+ years demonstrable experience in localizing game video content.
In depth and practical understanding of the nuances and considerations of translating various gaming content types.
Transcreation experience specifically within the gaming sector, translating NBA-related content for video games.
Familiarity with game engines and localization pipelines.
Knowledge of scripting formats (e.g., XML, JSON) is a plus.
Passion for video games, especially sports, action, or narrative-driven titles.
