About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- We are seeking professional or semi-professional voice talents with a passion for language and technology for an exciting project. The recordings will be used for model training.
- Voice samples
- Voice qualities of interest: Age-appropriate vocal quality. The voice should sound in the age range of 28–40 — dynamic, not overly serious or mature. Tone and timbre: we are looking for a full-bodied, warm, energetic, and dynamic voice — rich in tone with natural depth and resonance. Voices that sound too dry, overly serious, high-pitched, or shrill will be excluded.
- No regional accent. The voice talent must speak Standard German with absolutely no regional dialect influence.
- Female-sounding
- Flawless diction and articulation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Native speaker of German (target locale: GERMAN).
- Experience in voice acting, narration, podcasting, or streaming.
- Access to a professional or high-quality home recording setup.
- Recording software.
- Microphone.
- Headphones/speakers.
- Audio interface.
- Professional Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), software, plugins.
- Treated recording space or quiet environment, free from background noise, music, clicks, muffling, etc.
- Able to follow specific technical requirements when recording (volume level, file naming, file format, gaps between segments, audio quality, etc.).
- Able to provide demos, sample recordings, or voiceover samples.
- Comfortable with fast-turnaround projects and able to meet tight delivery deadlines when engaged.
- Open to licensing your voice for AI voice cloning / TTS training.
- Depending on the project, you may be required to complete a test module to be vetted against all requirements.
- Must not have been, and must not currently be, involved in AI voice training for any other company.
