About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build revenue for Local Authority, Domiciliary Care, and Direct to Consumer portfolios
- Deliver and exceed an individual revenue target
- Engage with potential and existing customers to identify and win contracts
- Create and manage a pipeline of new and existing business growth
- Identify and source bid opportunities and manage the bid process
- Manage customers through the sales process, including pilot programmes
- Manage customer relationships, provide product/service support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve complaints
- Identify and work with partners to accelerate revenue
- Deliver product demonstrations
- Support account management, growth, stakeholder management, programme planning, and execution
- Act as an escalation point and follow up after issue resolution or service delivery
- Ensure contracts are prepared, customer-system setup is completed, and purchase orders are received
- Coordinate with departments for timely customer-order delivery and resolution
- Maintain CRM records, generate reports, analyse data, and forecast revenue
- Develop thought-leader knowledge of Lilli’s product, markets, and use cases
- Clarify where Lilli can be deployed successfully and provide competitor and product-feature feedback
- Liaise with departments on business cases, events, and product development
- Represent Sales at internal events
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years’ experience in Business Development roles in a Health or Social Care environment
- Degree level qualified and/or relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills and customer-facing experience
- Proficiency with customer service software, CRM systems, and basic computer applications
- Experience building revenue through cold calling and account management
- Experience creating and executing account and sector plans
- Experience using cloud-based CRM systems, Microsoft products, and other tools
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Patient and empathetic attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with good organisational skills
- UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
- Deal-focused, customer-centric approach
- Ability to solutionise in challenging situations
- Team-player attitude and good interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to procedures or technologies
- Positive attitude and ability to form new relationships
