About the role
- Manage quoting and contracting workflows for all orders that go through the Lightyear platform, including escalations to ensure we get to the best customer outcomes
- Define new processes to support and scale quoting including onboarding new providers, ongoing operations, & reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, CS, & Product to ensure we continue to evolve our quoting workflows and platform functionality
- Define and track team and individual KPIs to ensure continuous improvement
- Oversee junior members of the team to execute relevant activities & hit key metrics
Requirements
- 3+ years experience managing pricing and/or quoting & contracting at a major US-based telco carrier or aggregating entity
- Strong familiarity with the telecom industry, including the range of companies, products, and services that are offered and what are competitive price points
- High degree of comfort with setting, operating, and iterating against priority actions at scale and proactively communicate where challenges/points of escalation exist
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and people management skills / EQ, including setting KPIs, holding others accountable for performance, and influencing internal/external parties to achieve particular outcomes on short timelines
- Some proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets)
- Bonus if located in NYC (Head of Operations is based in NY)
