About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the administration of day-to-day human resources programs and initiatives
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and applicant HR-related questions
- Assist with recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and new hire onboarding
- Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and other HR processes
- Support performance management, including performance reviews and employee development
- Conduct employee relations activities, including exit interviews and issue resolution
- Coordinate employee engagement and team-building initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture
- Build and maintain relationships with local colleges, universities, and community organizations to support recruitment initiatives
- Represent the organization at college and community job fairs to promote employment opportunities and strengthen the employer brand
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of human resources experience
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR certification preferred
