About the role

Support the development of software solutions that empower merchants with essential tools
Create and extend functionality of products by contributing to the product platform
Develop clean and highly maintainable code
Collaborate as part of a cross-functional squad to deliver product features and functionality
Work with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver features
Provide technical mentorship and support to teams
Contribute to defining product transformation as Lightspeed evolves its offerings and integrates payments, shipping and other services
Continuously extend skills and grow with the team, and participate in team culture and celebrations

Self-motivated with the ability to function effectively both in a team environment and independently
Detail-oriented and committed to quality
Collaborative with high emotional intelligence

Advanced experience with Golang
Solid experience with relational databases and NoSQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis)
Familiarity with programming patterns and microservices architecture
Exposure to modern and mainstream technologies
Product-oriented mindset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ownership, openness, and commitment
Business proficiency in English and Russian
Even better if you have: knowledge of AWS, Kafka, PHP/Symphony, ReactJS, GraphQL, or industry knowledge of eCommerce or POS systems
