About the role
- Help drive revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads as the first touchpoint between potential new customers and the Lightspeed brand
- Identifying potential customers and introducing our products to decision-makers through phone, email and in-person communications
- Engaging and qualifying new leads through various channels, including phone, email, text and social media
- Getting in on the ground floor of a new outbound sales team focused on growing our local presence
- Collaborating with inbound sales teams, including managing the handoff to Account Executives to demo software to prospective customers
- Working with the marketing and sales teams on strategies to grow our sales pipeline based on conversations and feedback from prospects
- Consistently meeting clearly defined monthly, quarterly and annual goals
Requirements
- Experience in sales or a call centre environment, with the energy and drive to (over)deliver on targets
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, including strong listening, verbal and written communication
- An entrepreneurial and agile mindset, with a bias toward action and ability to pivot when needed to meet business needs and objectives
- Even better if you have, but not necessary: Experience in the retail, hospitality or ecommerce industry
- Even better if you have, but not necessary: Experience with point-of-sale systems or other technology (e.g. software, mobile)
- Ability to do your job in a truly flexible environment;
