About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Tackle complex, open-ended, cross-functional business questions and structure ambiguity
Analyze business models, revenue streams, growth drivers, and sustainability
Connect individual business performance to the consolidated picture
Build financial models and analysis from the ground up
Find, access, and validate data, including using SQL and BI tools
Improve in-year and long-range forecasting methodologies and accuracy
Own monthly and quarterly finance processes, reviews, and reporting
Identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to senior finance and business leaders
Report to the Director, Strategic Finance & Insights and work directly with the VP Finance and CFO

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to structure ambiguous or unowned problems
Strong financial modelling skills, including driver-based models and three-statement analysis
Experience working directly with data using SQL or an equivalent querying tool and a BI platform
Strong business curiosity and ability to investigate financial drivers
Ability to challenge assumptions and numbers while building trusted business relationships
Strong communication skills for finance and non-finance audiences
Experience in a complex business with multiple revenue streams or business models
Availability to work within EST/EDT hours
Must be eligible to work in Canada; visa sponsorship requirements may apply based on eligibility
