• Designing, building, and scaling production services in Python, Go, and Rust
• Debugging production issues and supporting customers in their integration of the company's services
• Creating long term strategies and tooling to improve the stability, debuggability, monitoring, and support for company’s services and customers
• Implementing new features of the Lightning Protocol to keep the company’s services at the cutting edge of the Lightning Network
• Learning and sharing knowledge around the Lightning Network, Bitcoin Network, and other blockchains to contribute to the company’s highly collaborative environment
• Collaborating with the Lightning network and Bitcoin communities to make core protocol improvements
• Leading and mentoring a local team of Lightning Engineers and acting as a technical leader to ensure platform integrity and promote good practices
• Building frameworks to collect and deeply analyze Lightning data for solution improvement

Lead Lightning Network Infrastructure Engineer

Full-stack Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain SDKs used by partners to integrate with Spark’s backend services
• Work across multiple languages and platforms, primarily JavaScript/TypeScript, and expand to Kotlin, Go, and others
• Build core functionality and developer tools for high-volume enterprise customers
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and partner teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software
• Ensure SDKs are well-tested, well-documented, and easy for developers to adopt
• Contribute to architecture and design of new features with scalability and performance in mind
• Adapt quickly to new technologies, languages, and requirements as the product evolves
• Maintain a high bar for engineering excellence in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
