Design and implement Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) automated test infrastructure for our embedded systems
Work closely with software and system owners to develop deep understanding of how our systems work
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop testing coverage requirements
Author and execute test plans to ensure our embedded systems meet functional and safety requirements
Root cause test failures and clearly document bugs for tracking purposes
Support development testing in the lab and in the field

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 5 years experience testing software/firmware
Proven experience in embedded systems test infrastructure
Proficiency coding in Python
Experience with test automation and continuous integration
In-depth knowledge of CAN bus
Experience working on safety-critical systems
Self-directed and motivated with the ability to work effectively in uncertain situations
