About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute and manage the monthly close process from start to finish
Manage day-to-day accounting activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, cash management, and general ledger maintenance
Lead and execute the organization of workflows and identify process improvements
Manage multi-entity accounting including intercompany activity and eliminations
Strengthen internal controls and support audit readiness
Partner with leadership to ensure timely and reliable financial information

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least seven years of hands-on accounting experience
Proven ability to independently run a clean and timely close
Strong foundation in GAAP
Nonprofit experience considered a plus
Detail-oriented and organized
Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central helpful
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and data analysis
Familiarity with tools like Power BI is a plus
Bachelor’s in accounting or related field required
CPA (or strong path towards it) preferred
