About the role
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations for children with suspected autism spectrum disorder
- Administer ADOS-2, CARS-2, and complementary assessment tools
- Prepare comprehensive diagnostic reports that meet insurance requirements
- Review findings with families and provide recommendations for services
- Coordinate evaluation schedules, waitlists, and communication with the outreach team and Sr. Director of Diagnostic Assessment
- Participate in ongoing professional learning related to ASD evaluations and best practices
- Perform occasional in-person assessments within the region (minimal travel)
Requirements
- Licensed Psychologist
- PSYPACT licensed
- Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD/PsyD) or equivalent
- Must be fluent in Spanish
- HSPP endorsement (per state requirement)
- Successful completion of the EPPP
- Experience with ADOS-2 and autism-specific diagnostic testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A family-centered, compassionate approach
- Ability to work directly with children during assessments
- Candidates must have availability to work during Eastern/Central Standard Time zones
