About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the product expert for Light, demonstrating workflows and answering partners' configuration and accounting questions
Own partner activation from the initial product deep-dive through Light-certified status and beyond
Deliver training on product deep-dives, implementation methodology, data migration, and live day-in-the-life sessions
Run shadow and reverse-shadow cycles, grade readiness, and gate certification
Support partners during their first client deliveries and uphold Light's quality standards
Coach partners on chart of accounts, entity structure, consolidation logic, and reporting design
Identify and intervene in partner deliveries that are going off-track
Challenge ineffective partner shortcuts and guide partners toward workable approaches
Build reusable curricula, playbooks, templates, and recordings for the enablement library
Feed partner insights back into the product and partner programme

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
5+ years in finance transformation, ERP implementation, or finance advisory
Experience in Big 4, finance-focused boutique, or vendor-side professional services teams such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Workday Financials
Fluent accounting knowledge, including multi-entity consolidation, intercompany eliminations, accrual accounting, and statutory versus management reporting
Ability to teach complex product and accounting concepts to audiences ranging from partner associates to client CFOs
Ability to structure messy programmes with clear plans, prioritisation, and sound judgement
Ability to build trust with partner leadership and client finance teams
Comfort working cross-functionally and through external partner teams
Ability to diagnose implementation issues quickly and deliver practical solutions
Hands-on experience with real implementations in vendor-side, consulting-side, or customer-side roles
Daily use of AI tools, with informed views on their application in delivery and enablement
Fluent English
Qualified accountant is a plus, not a requirement
Additional European languages, especially German, are a plus
Go-live ownership, multi-jurisdiction experience, and training or certification programme experience are bonuses
