About the role
- Lead a high-performing team in developing core game technologies
- Define and govern multi-year engineering strategies
- Oversee the design, development, and evolution of game development technologies
- Collaborate with internal teams to align technical solutions with business needs
- Advocate for engineering best practices
- Hire, mentor, and lead the engineering team
- Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration
- Provide technical leadership in game development frameworks and tools
- Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the design process
- Ensure adherence to industry compliance standards
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years in software engineering
- At least 5 years in leadership roles
- Strong experience in game development technologies, ideally with Unity and C#/.NET
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and software engineering best practices
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, modularity, and performance optimization
- Proven track record of hiring, mentoring, and growing engineering teams
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product, platform, QA, and compliance teams
