Compliance & Governance Assistant – f/m/d

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Organize and coordinate board meetings, assemblies, and international high-level meetings (online and in-person)
- Prepare meeting minutes, record key decisions, and monitor follow-up actions
- Ensure timely statutory filings and monitor compliance with governance deadlines
- Coordinate board member onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain governance-related communication channels, compliance documentation, and board information databases
- Serve as the primary administrative contact for board members
- Act as Accessibility Focal Point by reviewing governance documents and events for accessibility
- Support the planning and monitoring of governance budgets and expenses
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of experience in governance, compliance, corporate administration, or a similar role
- Understanding of governance and legal frameworks relevant to NGOs is an asset
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic international environment
- Proficiency in MS Teams and other collaboration and meeting management tools
