About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support end-to-end sales compensation administration, including monthly and quarterly incentive calculations, payout preparation, and true-up processing
- Validate CRM and finance-system source data, reconcile results, and flag discrepancies before payout runs
- Operate and manage data within sales compensation tools, including data entry, testing, and issue escalation
- Maintain documentation for compensation plans, calculation logic, and standard operating procedures
- Support audit and reconciliation processes for data accuracy, compliance, and plan adherence
- Prepare attainment and earnings reports for Sales leadership and Finance partners
- Assist with ad-hoc compensation analysis, scenario modeling, and exception handling
- Support bonus plan calculations outside sales incentives, including validation and audit checks
- Review compensation data quality and escalate inconsistencies or risks
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Take on additional responsibilities as expertise grows
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of experience in finance, compensation, or a closely related analytical role
- Working knowledge of sales compensation administration and incentive plan mechanics
- Experience with sales compensation tools such as Performio, Everstage, Spiff, CaptivateIQ, or similar
- Ability to learn new tools as needed
- Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
- Comfortable working with large datasets and performing reconciliations
- High attention to detail and structured, process-oriented approach
- Ability to work with moderate autonomy on familiar tasks and seek guidance on new or complex assignments
- Clear and concise communication skills; able to present findings at team level
- Growth mindset and continuous learning in compensation concepts, tools, and processes
- Data-driven, numbers-first approach
- Ownership of assigned tasks and delivery of accurate results on deadline
- Ability to collaborate with peers, Sales partners, and Finance stakeholders
- Eligible to work remotely in one of the approved U.S. states: California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, or Washington
