About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees’ HR-related inquiries through the HR Ticketing system while maintaining confidentiality and an excellent employee experience
  • Manage global HR onboarding and offboarding for new hires and terminations, focusing on the Americas region
  • Coordinate payroll paperwork, benefits administration, and work authorization compliance for new hires
  • Manage and administer compliance-related training globally
  • Manage current employee data in the global HRIS system
  • Maintain accurate employee records and employee data integrity
  • Administer US leave-of-absence compliance through Cocoon
  • Provide leave support for Canada- and Brazil-based employees outside Cocoon
  • Support benefits administration and partner with international benefits providers across the Americas
  • Support performance and compensation cycles, including the bi-annual merit and promotion process
  • Support employee engagement surveys and other global people programs
  • Back up EMEA/APAC onboarding, offboarding, leave, benefits, and employee-question support
  • Collaborate with the broader People Operations team to implement and improve company-wide people processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of HR Generalist/Operations experience in fast-paced technology environments
  • PHR or aPHR certification, or willingness to obtain certification within 18 months of hire
  • Experience managing global HR systems; UKG/Ultipro preferred
  • Prior experience with leave administration in the US; Canada and Brazil experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with HR ticketing systems is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
