About the role
- Partner with HR leaders and key stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into clear analytical deliverables.
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports that track key workforce metrics (e.g. hiring, turnover, diversity, performance, engagement).
- Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations and executive-ready materials that clearly communicate insights, trends, and recommendations.
- Visualize complex people data in intuitive and compelling ways to support leadership decision-making.
- Perform descriptive and diagnostic analysis to identify patterns, drivers, and areas of opportunity in workforce data.
- Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests with a strong focus on accuracy, clarity, and timeliness.
- Collaborate with more technical team members (data engineers, data scientists) as needed to source and structure data.
- Help establish standards and best practices for HR reporting, data visualization, and insight delivery.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of people analytics processes, templates, and storytelling approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, HR, Economics, or a related field with 3+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or people analytics roles.
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in the same fields with 2+ years of relevant analytics experience would be considered.
- 3+ years of experience writing SQL and working with structured datasets.
- 2+ years of experience with Power BI (or comparable business intelligence tools) developing dashboards and executive-level reporting.
- 2+ years of experience in HR analytics or workforce analytics, including analysis of turnover, hiring, performance, engagement, or related workforce metrics.
- Experience working with Workday reporting and/or Workday People Analytics SKU strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience translating business questions into analytical deliverables and partnering directly with stakeholders to inform decision-making.
- Proven ability to create executive-ready presentations and communicate insights clearly and concisely to senior leaders.
- Strong experience with data visualization best practices and storytelling techniques to effectively communicate complex data to varied audiences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction, manage multiple priorities, and deliver accurate, high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience helping define or improve reporting standards, templates, or analytical processes preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical partners (e.g., data engineers, data scientists).
