About the role
- Create interactive and engaging eLearning modules, courses, and other digital learning materials using industry-standard tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc).
- Develop instructional materials such as job aids, infographics, videos, and simulations.
- Facilitate needs analysis to inform instructional design strategies.
- Develop effective knowledge checks and assessments to support learning objectives, report results, and identify changes and enhancements based on data.
- Upload, assign, and maintain versioning of trainings in our LMS (Workday Learning)
- Apply adult learning theories and instructional design models to create effective learning experiences.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders across various departments to identify training needs and content requirements.
- Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct regular project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of instructional design processes and project plans.
- Implement evaluation strategies to assess the effectiveness of learning programs.
- Analyze feedback and performance data to continuously improve learning solutions.
- Stay current with trends and best practices in eLearning and instructional design to ensure the highest quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning and Development, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in instructional design, with a significant focus on eLearning design and development.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and building strong partnerships within a business environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and best practices in eLearning design and development.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical skills to evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, openness to feedback, and a proactive approach to personal and professional development.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making decisions to achieve results.
