About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, organize, and deliver an individualized student learning experience in an online environment.
Support school-wide initiatives that improve teaching and learning.
Collaborate with other instructional staff and school personnel to support the student’s academic plan.
Provide meaningful, timely feedback on assignments via the Learning Management System (LMS).
Welcome new students within one business day of enrollment.
Guide students in goal setting and progress monitoring.
Monitor and document student progress and communication in the Student Information System (SIS).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
Valid State Teaching Credential is preferred but not required.
Teaching experience required; Experience teaching in an online learning environment is preferred.
Ability to learn Student Information and Learning Management Systems.
Ability to motivate students and parents toward achieving good academic standing.
Ability to work with culturally diverse student populations.
Intermediate level of skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other technology applications.
