About the role
- Meet/greet clinical research volunteers and ensure their comfort during visits
- Check vitals (height, weight, blood pressure, BMI) and assess health per study protocol
- Perform phlebotomy on study subjects according to client protocols
- Ensure study participants are healthy enough to participate according to protocol
- Follow clients' protocols for vital sign assessments and phlebotomy procedures
- Participate in meetings and other assignments as part of a collaborative team
- Chaperone study subjects during breaks and provide personalized care to ensure comfort
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Undergraduate degree in a clinical or health-related area preferred or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of work experience in a medical or clinical field (preferred)
- Strong command of English and the host country's language
- Certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) or Phlebotomist Certification advantageous
- Preferred backgrounds: Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medication Aide, Telemetry Technician, or Laboratory Technician
- Ability to take vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, BMI) and perform phlebotomy
- Ability to follow client protocols and participate in meetings
- Compassion and dedication to ensure participant comfort and well-being
