About the role
- - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure that our web applications function as expected.
- - Work closely with the development team to understand the product requirements and features.
- - Create automated tests and maintain existing test suites to improve test efficiency.
- - Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs found during testing.
- - Participate in the design and development meetings to provide input on potential quality issues.
- - Help troubleshoot issues, suggesting improvements, and ensuring that updates are tested before being deployed.
- - Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
- - Analyze test results, discover and report root causes for test failures.
- - Ensure that all aspects of quality are measured and that defects are reported and dealt with during the product life cycle.
- - Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Requirements
- - A native or fluent Mandarin speaker with 2+ years of experience as a QA Software Engineer
- - Experience in testing APIs, Micro services, Web services, and Web pages
- - Excellent analytical skills, with demonstrable experience driving issues to resolution
- - Experience working closely with developers, product and delivery managers, and other stakeholders
- - A desire to be involved in all aspects of product development from inception through planning, design, implementation, and delivery
- - The ability to engage with software engineers to embed quality in all stages of development
- - A passion for becoming a domain expert in the systems we build, and the customers who use them
- - Analytical and critical thinking skills - asking good questions, challenges assumptions and challenge existing ideas and viewpoints
- - Test automation with knowledge in Java, Python
- - Proficiency in Selenium Framework, JMeter, etc
- - Experience in Agile environment and comfortable with fast-paced delivery process
