About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the direct oversight of the daily clinical operations related to organ donation
Provides supervisory oversight of Organ Administrator on Call and Referral Coordinators
Prepares the on-call schedule to ensure coverage at all times
Provides guidance to accurately screen and evaluate cases to maximize donation
Planning and delivering department meetings
Management of the selection, training, development and performance of departmental staff
Conducts performance reviews in alignment with job expectations
Works collaboratively with Lifebanc’s management teams
Participates in local, regional, and national seminars on organ donation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing, respiratory therapy, or related biological science preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience as the Organ Administer on Call required
Minimum of 5 years as Transplant Coordinator required
Active current license/certificate pursuant to required education and experience
BLS and ACLS required; certification must be approved by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CPTC) preferred
