Director of Quality

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead regional business initiatives aligned with global quality and training objectives.
- Define and implement regional quality strategies that support organizational goals.
- Build, lead, and mentor the regional quality team to foster a high-performance culture.
- Develop succession planning and talent development programs for quality and training roles.
- Ensure the region maintains a GDP / ISO audit-ready stance at all times.
- Conduct internal quality audits and customer audits; support external regulatory inspections.
- Oversee maintenance of regional / local quality certifications.
- Ensure documentation adheres to ALCOA+ principles and is readily accessible.
- Manage and support qualification processes for equipment and systems.
- Monitor regional KPIs and leverage data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support regional management review meetings and report findings to global leadership.
- Oversee implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and ensure timely closure of deviations.
- Support sales teams with quality-related aspects for new and existing customers.
- Lead complex investigations and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
- Attend global QA meetings to share best practices and regulatory updates.
- Define regional training requirements based on customer, regulatory, and compliance needs.
- Oversee development and maintenance of onboarding training for new associates and continuous education programs.
- Develop training KPIs and monitor compliance across the region.
- Ensure proper use and management of training systems, including content, user setup, and reporting.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven leadership experience in regional or global quality roles.
- Strong knowledge of GxP, ISO standards, and international good distribution practice requirements.
- Expertise in audits, CAPA management, change control, and training program oversight.
- Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage complexity and drive results across regional teams.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to support cross-functional teams.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
