About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Repair components according to applicable Component Maintenance Manuals, engineering data, and other approved data
- Complete repair work within supervisor-provided timeframes
- Maintain shop supply discipline and conserve resources efficiently
- Maintain sufficient consumables to prevent work stoppage
- Ensure tooling and test equipment are properly maintained, stored, and operational
- Coordinate tool and equipment requirements with the supervisor
- Collaborate on process improvement initiatives to improve workflow, increase productivity, and reduce shop flow days
- Ensure all work complies with Liebherr-Aerospace, customer requirements, FAA, and EASA standards
- Train others to troubleshoot assigned LRUs as a Repair Technician Trainer
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in aviation maintenance preferred
- Airframe / Powerplant license or certification preferred
- Repair Technician Trainer requires Level 4 or above on the shop scale
- Trainer must be knowledgeable, complete work within standard times, and effectively teach others to troubleshoot assigned LRUs
- Subject to random and pre-hire drug testing under FAA and company regulations
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
