About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Researches, plans, and designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems
- Directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems
- Works with crossfunctional teams involving core team members for important project decisions and actions
- Organizes and ensures adherence to detailed product specifications
- Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposals, specifications and manuals
- Supports fabrication and installation activities to ensure products conform to engineering design and customer specifications
- Manages upper level Bill of Materials (BOMs) releases and changes
- Works with Factory Engineering team to define truck design concepts
- Troubleshoots engineering issues both on the production floor and as support to field service
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College or University in an Engineering discipline
- 2 to 8 years of experience in an engineering capacity
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport
- Travel to customer or supplier sites domestically and internationally 10%
