About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Development, maintenance and optimization of Power BI reports, dashboards and data models (on-premises and cloud)
- Building dataflows, datamarts and ETL processes in the Microsoft Power BI environment
- Connecting various internal and external data sources (SQL, APIs, SharePoint, Excel, Dynamics, etc.)
- Performance optimization (DAX, model structure, Incremental Refresh, M query)
- Establishing KPI structures, data governance and standard visualizations
- Developing and integrating reporting solutions based on Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online, APIs)
- Setting up automated workflows, forms and approval processes
- Supporting the further development of an M365-based data and process landscape
- Designing and implementing reusable components and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed IT education (e.g., HTL in Computer Science or a degree in Computer Science)
- Initial experience with cloud data platforms, ideally Azure and modern platforms such as Databricks/Fabric
- Solid understanding of relational databases (especially MS SQL) and ETL concepts
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, DAX) is an advantage
- Prior experience in software architecture, software development or data science (Python, C#/.NET, Git) is an advantage
- Analytical thinking, initiative and strong service orientation
- Very good German and good English skills
