ICT Support Engineer – Level 1
Liebherr GroupIT Support Engineer providing level 1 IT support for Liebherr-Australia operations. Ensuring timely IT support services and collaborating in the implementation of new IT solutions.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provision of IT support services, level 1 tickets
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, servers, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support to the branch (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users.
- Testing new technology and training users
- Active participation in the implementation of new IT solutions and services
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1 year Helpdesk experience preferred
- Currently studying, recently completed, or interested in pursuing an Information Technology qualification.
- Intermediate computer hardware and software installation skills
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify appropriate solutions.
- Understanding of the importance of data security and confidentiality.
- Ability to understand customer issues and assist in finding appropriate solutions.
- Maintains a positive and optimistic attitude
- Communicates effectively and appropriately with others
