About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead development of project "Initiation Activities"
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives
Document and manage all project specific objectives
Develop a detailed project plan
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Coordinate risk and opportunity management planning activities
Guide the applicable core team members
Manage customer required documentation
Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel
Communicate with customers on problem resolution
Monitor and provide direction throughout build/installation process
Prepare and report status of project
Conduct and document “Lessons Learned” review of project

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
3-5 years of project management experience
Minimum of three (3) full lifecycle projects managed
Minimum of one global project managed
Cross-functional experience of 3-4 years in manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, finance, quality or sales
Automotive industry and manufacturing experience preferred
Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
Ability to manage and facilitate a cross functional team
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Strong organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Skilled in using logic and reason to solve problems
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions
