About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage sales activities of Liebherr Construction Equipment Div. (LUS-EMT) in the United States with appointed National Accounts.
  • Influence sales with corporate and local entities.
  • Responsible for overall management of National Account relationships in the US.
  • Develop new National Account relationships.
  • Coordinate with General Manager, Dealer Development and Regional Business Managers.
  • Research and develop effective business relationships with forestry-related National Accounts.
  • Assist in delivering sales presentations in coordination with the General Manager, Dealer Development, Regional Business Managers, or Liebherr Dealers.
  • Act as a liaison between National Accounts and Liebherr Dealers as needed.
  • Provide timely input/updates for call reports, lost sale reports and other required company reporting procedures.
  • Write and/or negotiate contracts with National Account representatives and attorneys.
  • Follow up on the National Account agreements with customers and Liebherr dealers.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of prior technical sales experience, or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of construction and forestry equipment products and the industry.
  • Strong supervisory skills and the ability to direct and manage others.
  • Business acumen to review contracts to ensure consistency with laws and LCE strategy.
  • Ability to create and foster a team environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of selling techniques and the ability to close sales.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Sound judgment and high integrity.
  • Ability to perform duties in field assignments ranging from dealer locations to customer job sites.
  • Ability to function in a team environment and work with other groups for maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Strong record keeping and organizational skills.
  • PC Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Power-Point and Excel.
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of the time.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport.
