About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Preparation of sales plan, yearly forecast, balancing quantity and after approval updating plan in ERP, MRP run and verifying the demand & supply.
- Forecasting the demand requirement for the business of Tower Crane & Drives, by using data sources such as historical sales trends, statistical modelling & cross functional (sales & product management) inputs.
- To lead the Order Management & Sales Coordination team.
- Close coordination and communication.
- Monitor sales coordination at various depths of granularity (by product and/or by location)
- Adhere to all the sales strategies made by Management
- Ensure that sales activities are carried out ethically and in accordance with legal requirements
- Developing and implementing ideas that will help the organization to meet sales goals
- Ensuring sales department meets set goals by PO verification, SO creation & close communication on time
- Fulfil the sales tasks within its purview as required
- Coordinating between all the internal departments for meeting sales goals
- Coordinate transportation, documentation and related accounting affairs regarding customer Orders
- Coordinate on the problems encountered by customers in sales and service with respective departments
- Knowledge of data analysis, data analytics, operation activities, process, workflow process development & documentation.
- Keep management informed by preparing reports, making presentations, and interpreting information.
- Department Manpower planning and related coordination with other stake holders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors in mechanical engineering & MBA operations will be added advantage
- More than 10 years’ experience in Customer Service Admin / After Sales Operations / Planning / Order Management (industrial preferred)
- Working knowledge of ERP (BaaN IV, SAP) and MS Excel.
- Good Verbal communication.
- Knowledge of forecast planning & sales coordination.
- Strong communication & follow-up discipline.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
