About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Understand the business – assess and support the business objectives for digital products and services
Design end-to-end architecture for a distributed, multi-brand energy management system for construction sites embedded within the LIEBHERR multibrand ecosystem
Operate at the intersection of product, platform and product architecture while integrating a heterogeneous digital landscape and enabling cross-company interoperability
Align with Liebherr internal digital platforms and coordinate with external partners such as OEMs and construction firms
Define requirements – produce technical specifications for distributed systems
Support architecture decisions – discuss implementation options in close collaboration with software engineers
Coordinate dependencies and support go-live activities by ensuring a high degree of automation in release processes
Collaborate within interdisciplinary agile teams and ensure DevOps practices – “You build it, you run it.”

Requirements

What you’ll need

M.Sc. in Computer Science and at least 7 years’ experience in developing complex software (e.g., product owner, developer, architect, system engineer)
Proficiency with distributed IoT software systems
Experience with end-to-end systems, from embedded devices to the cloud
Strong focus on integration, not only development
Experience with cloud mechanisms, tooling and providers
Experience with continuous integration and DevOps
Experience working with international teams and a high degree of motivation and collaboration in agile environments
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in German and English
