About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operation of central infrastructure services (server systems, SQL databases and virtualization platforms)
Installation, configuration, monitoring and optimization of server operating systems
Ensuring the availability, security and stability of the central data centers for company operations
Central point of contact for integrating and supporting production machines from an IT infrastructure perspective
Creation, adaptation and maintenance of system documentation
Implementation and monitoring of internal and external security policies
Establishment, implementation and further development of modern IT management systems
Technical requirements consulting in projects and development of solution proposals based on customer requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training or degree in IT (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration)
Solid knowledge of virtualization environments and working with SQL databases
Several years of experience in administering IT infrastructures and IT services
Very good understanding of system architectures and system integrations
Strong affinity for automating processes, ideally using scripting languages such as PowerShell
Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented way of working
Strong communication skills, team spirit and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
Very good German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken
