About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the design, implementation, optimisation, and ongoing operation of Liebherr Australia’s network and core systems infrastructure
Provide expert guidance and mentorship to the engineering team
Lead the resolution of complex incidents
Contribute to infrastructure strategy and continuous improvement across 23 branches in Australia and New Zealand
Ensure high availability and performance of network and server infrastructure through proactive maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution across multiple sites
Provide senior-level Tier 2/3 support for escalated incidents
Lead formal root cause analysis for recurring and major incidents
Implement permanent fixes and contribute to a reduction in incident recurrence
Define and maintain infrastructure architecture standards
Lead or co-lead infrastructure upgrade, migration, and deployment projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with Cisco wireless controllers, ISE, ACI, Micro-segmentation
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking or a related field
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) – Data Centre Virtualisation
At least one advanced technical certification: CCNP Enterprise, VMware VCP, Microsoft AZ-104, or equivalent
ITIL 4 Foundation Certification
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position
Equivalent combination of education and industry experience may also be considered
