• Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment
• Operate independently in the field, often without close supervision
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems with accuracy and efficiency
• Prioritize safety while delivering results under challenging conditions and tight timelines
• Maintain detailed service records and prepare accurate documentation for each job
• Use diagnostic tools and software to assess equipment condition and performance
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand issues, set expectations, and provide updates
• Collaborate with parts and service departments to ensure timely repairs and parts availability
• Provide emergency breakdown support, including nights, and weekends as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle
• Represent the company professionally while on customer sites
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving equipment technologies
• Support machine assembly and complete factory updates
