About the role

  • Partners with business leaders and human resources management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Provides expert HR guidance and support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters, including performance management, employee relations, and talent development.
  • Works with Recruiting to develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Collaborates with business leaders and senior HR leadership to establish and nurture connections with local government agencies, workforce development councils, and educational institutions such as colleges and universities, aiming to create a robust talent pipeline.
  • Develops and implements HR policies and procedures that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Ensures compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Identifies employee development needs and works with leadership and Training to implement learning and development initiatives that enhance skills and capabilities.
  • Conducts regular HR audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborates with the HR Center of Excellence (COE) in areas like compensation, benefits, learning & development, etc.
  • Leads initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Provides coaching and support to managers on leadership and team development.
  • Analyzes HR metrics and provides insights to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Stays current with industry trends and best practices in HR.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of HR experience; or an equivalent combination of education and direct Human Resources experience as a Human Resources Generalist or Business Partner.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical abilities with a focus on strategic planning and business alignment
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role, preferably within a startup environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to guide and influence Human Resources initiatives.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
