About the role

  • Manage and update comprehensive purchasing records and purchase orders systematically.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing purchase activities, order values, and relevant insights.
  • Oversee and monitor routine purchasing tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with user departments and suppliers for project-related purchasing tasks.
  • Handle and monitor claims to factories and vendors for defective or missing parts.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.
  • Monitor and coordinate item deliveries to ensure timely receipt.
  • Ensure purchases align with specified requirements.
  • Plan and manage optimal inventory levels of materials and products.
  • Identify and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Oversee deliveries from both local and overseas suppliers.
  • Have a strong understanding of statutory compliance related to manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain Management, Procurement)
  • 5 to 6 years of experience in Electrical/Hydraulics/Bought out Purchases
  • Knowledge of tools such as PPAP, FMEA, 8D, Power BI
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
