Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and update comprehensive purchasing records and purchase orders systematically.
Prepare detailed reports summarizing purchase activities, order values, and relevant insights.
Oversee and monitor routine purchasing tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate with user departments and suppliers for project-related purchasing tasks.
Handle and monitor claims to factories and vendors for defective or missing parts.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.
Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.
Monitor and coordinate item deliveries to ensure timely receipt.
Ensure purchases align with specified requirements.
Plan and manage optimal inventory levels of materials and products.
Identify and evaluate supplier performance.
Oversee deliveries from both local and overseas suppliers.
Have a strong understanding of statutory compliance related to manufacturing operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain Management, Procurement)
5 to 6 years of experience in Electrical/Hydraulics/Bought out Purchases
Knowledge of tools such as PPAP, FMEA, 8D, Power BI
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
